Amy attended Mount Ida College for Interior Design and is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She has been on the planning committee for the Annual Gala for over 3 years.

The years prior to becoming a Kitchen Designer Amy created the store layouts for Logan Furniture, was a lighting designer at Savio Lighting and did the mitigation for homes that would have either had a fire or a flood at ARS Services. Therefore, making her knowledgeable in emergency situations working with insurance companies and understanding budgets.

Amy started her career as a Kitchen Designer at Divine Design Center where she learned a great deal about European trends, metrics and modern/contemporary design. She furthered her career at Cabinet Gallery in Hopkinton doing a mix of modern frame-less to beaded inset. She wanted to master the American style cabinetry allowing herself to suit any style her clients have. Her favorite is combining the two styles with a classic transitional balance.

She believes when designing a new kitchen it is important to establish “work and prep zones”. Creating such zones within your kitchen is so important as it allows a natural flow so you can use it with ease.

When she is not designing or flipping through design magazines, you'll find her spending time with her dogs and doing house projects in the fixer upper her and her Fiance recently bought. Follow her journey on instagram.

HER PHILOSOPHY

"You only grow old when you stop learning."
